Year-Round Care
The Children’s Center offers both partial-day and full-day enrollment options for toddlers and preschoolers, from 15 months to 5 years.
Enrollment is for the full-year, 12-month program beginning in September. The majority of openings occur in September, as it is when children move “up” to new classrooms for the school year. However, children may be enrolled whenever space becomes available throughout the year.
Applications for September open the year prior in December. We process applications on a rolling basis while spaces are available.
When we receive your application and the required non-refundable application fee of $75.00, if there is an opening, a refundable $500 security deposit and a non-refundable payment equivalent to one month’s tuition (which is applied to the first month’s tuition) are required to reserve the space.
If we do not have a space, your child’s name can be put on our waitlist by submitting a completed application and application fee.

Early Drop-Off
Early Drop-Off is available daily, 7:30 am to 8:00 am, for a cost of $15.00 per morning or $300 per month. Early Drop-Off can be built into your schedule, or you can make requests as needed through the office.
Extra Time
Families with Part-Time schedules may want to occasionally extend their child's day or add an extra day to their schedule. All Extra hours (overtime) or days must be pre-arranged with the office at least 1 day in advance. See Family Resources to learn more.
All extra time must be approved by the office in order to maintain safe staff - to-child ratios.
Late Fees
Unscheduled overtime during operating hours is charged at a rate of $10 for every 10 minutes or any portion of a 10-minute period, starting at your child’s scheduled pick-up time.
Pick-up after 6:00 pm (closing time) is charged at a rate of $20 for every 10 minutes or for any portion of a 10-minute period for the 1st through 3rd times; $40 for the 4th through 6th times and $60 after 6 times. This fee must be paid in cash directly to the teachers.
Tuition is due on the 15th of the preceding month. Payments made after the due date are subject to a $50 late fee. Payments made more than 15 days after the due date are subject to an additional $100 late fee.
Failure to pay tuition in a timely manner can result in the termination of your Enrollment Agreement.
Billing
All families must sign up for a free Procare account in order to pay tuition.
Tuition is billed each month on the 15th of the month for the following month's tuition. For example, September 2025 tuition will be due on August 15th.

Financial Aid
CCL’s financial aid fund provides some tuition assistance based on individual family needs. Please reach out to ccl@cclex.org for more information. Financial aid applications and information are maintained in complete confidentiality.
We request that families who live in Lexington apply to CCL for financial aid and also apply to the LexFun (www.LexFun.org) scholarship program.
